I was pretty worried for a while that I might run out of work during this period of economic slowdown.
However, reality hasn’t changed, and computers still break. As a network technician, so long as computer networks are being used, I will probably have work.
I have also been following Joseph Prusa’s efforts on helping with the COVID 19 pandemic. He makes excellent points that ventilators and filtration masks are not ideal targets for rapid prototype machines. Instead, he released an excellent face shield that has been remixed into something that could be cheaply reproducible here in Taos county.
If you know medical technicians in need of face PPE in the Enchanted Circle area, please contact me.
And of course, if you need assistance in teleworking or other remote telecommunications, please let me know.
